About the creator

AK
Alexey Kravchenko
Founder, SeniorOrgCheck · Data researcher & web developer

Alexey is an independent web developer and data researcher specializing in programmatic data platforms and public interest tools. SeniorOrgCheck was built to address a real gap: families researching senior care providers and donors evaluating nonprofits had no easy way to access and compare IRS financial data. Alexey built this platform to make that public data genuinely accessible and useful.

With a background in SEO, data engineering, and affiliate publishing, Alexey has built numerous data-driven tools across finance, real estate, and social services verticals. SeniorOrgCheck is his most personally meaningful project — inspired by the difficulty of finding reliable information about senior care organizations for aging family members.

Frequently asked questions about contacting us

Can you add my organization to SeniorOrgCheck?

We pull data automatically from the IRS via ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer. If your organization files Form 990 and provides senior services, it should appear in our database automatically. If it doesn’t, contact us with your EIN and we’ll investigate.

Our financial data is displayed incorrectly. What should we do?

All data comes from your public IRS Form 990 filings. If the data is wrong, the correction needs to be made at the source — with the IRS directly or via an amended 990. We can note discrepancies on your organization’s page in the meantime. Contact us at [email protected] with details.

Can you remove our organization from the site?

IRS Form 990 filings are public record under federal law. We display only information that is legally required to be public. We cannot remove organizations from our database, but we can add context or clarifying notes if needed.

Do you offer advertising or sponsored listings?

We do not accept advertising from nonprofit organizations we cover — this is core to our editorial independence. We may display contextual third-party advertising unrelated to specific organizations. For partnership inquiries unrelated to coverage, reach out via LinkedIn.

Can I use SeniorOrgCheck data in my research or publication?

The underlying IRS data is public domain. Our scoring methodology, content, and visual presentation are original work. You’re welcome to cite SeniorOrgCheck as a source. For bulk data access or licensing, contact us to discuss options.
